Have you ever done something you wish you had not? Have you ever wondered what life would be if you chose the other path? Have you ever felt like a fool? Have you ever wanted something that just seemed so out of reach? Have you ever looked back at all that you have done and muttered, "what the hell?"

If one were to seriously start, the list could go on and on. I guess at one point of time one would start to wonder, "who exactly am I?" As you sit in the corner, isolated from the crowd, you slowly gaze at everyone else who try to find a place for themselves, or those who think they already have a place, while comfortably enjoying themselves, oblivious to others.

Indeed, I guess humans do have an instinct for community. Exactly why do we feel so insecure at times I know not of. But what I do know, is that the person who has his door always open to others, providing shelter, comfort, may not neccessarily be greeted with an open door when he is down in the dumps. Would you pity the guy? Or would you give him a pat on his back, while deep down thinking of how naive he is?

In such a Darwinian society, does it pay to be nice? Amidst all the hypocrisy, does that word even exist in your dictionary? He used to have hope, used to have faith, used to have trust. Now he's left penniless, walking...surviving amongst the crowd. The cold wind blows, and he desperately rubs his hand together for warmth. He looks to his left, and sees people crowded together, laughing, joking. He looks to his right, and sees people huddling around a small sentimental warm glow.

Familiar faces he sees on both sides, but they fail to notice he stands there, watching. He stares at the glow, fascinated by the deceit it brought. He then walks on, away from the crowd. Then again, what choice does he have?

He used to know his place; now he's searching the room for an empty seat.

Growing up is such sweet sorrow.

Surprise surprise, I'm blogging again (:

Today was a day well-spent despite the inefficiency. It was a day I spent mostly with myself, watching drama which actually provided me with some food for thought. I don't know why it bugs me so much...Why I get unhappy and disappointed. I realise you can never seem to find any reason to get unhappy if you don't care...Is that what I want? Perhaps. I only know I'm happy right now. And my happiness wasn't brought by anyone so then I need not worry if they will one day turn their back against me. That's a good thing..right?

Something (randomly) meaningful I heard today:

In love, is it that if you can't get A, then you choose B? And if you cant get B then you choose C? Is it like that?

What do you think? Well I beg to differ but I guess my opinion on this matter really doesnt matter (:

Hopefully one day I'll be able to say with a bright smile, " I don't need anyone." but i seriously doubt that day will come. :P

Haven't blogged in a long long time. Perhaps it was because of the memories previous posts hold, perhaps it was because I still feel guilty for what I did back then, or perhaps, there were things best left unsaid.

I made a decision back then. I thought friends were all that mattered. I won't begin on how seemingly foolish I was. No, not anymore. It's time to face my mistakes, even if it means facing all the troubles alone. I'm sorry I shoved you aside. Saying it now, would you believe me? I'm sorry for all the trouble. Given a chance, I would choose rather not to appear in your life, or perhaps just a brief acquaintance would suffice. I'm sorry it took so long for me to be honest. It took that many setbacks for me to finally lose faith in them, to start realising what I've lost and to come back knocking on your door, drenched from the rain.

Something I read earlier reminded me of what you once said to me. You thanked me for giving you the key to my heart. Happiness then was simple and life was carefree. But it was short-lived, as most happy moments in my life currently are.

I don't know if I'll ever meet someone who cared as much as you did, or if I'll ever meet anyone that will leave footsteps in my heart anymore. I feel like a mere mode of transport to someone's destination- People enter, and subsequently they just exit.

I've met my share of woes this past 1 year and I'm slowly learning to be strong. Or at least, stronger than I was back then. Everything just seems different when you feel alone. I hope you are doing well.

The true meaning of valentine's day?

Is it really just all flowers and offering of confectionery? I used to think that that was basically all there is to valentine's day and used to wonder if I would ever even spend that day celebrating with a special someone.

However, I realised this year, that there certainly is more to the 14th of february. As we all know, this year, valentine's day clashed with Chinese New Year and many lovebirds were unable to spend that special day together. Instead, many decided to celebrate on Friday, the 12th.

Despite that, love still filled the air on the 12th and that made me understand that valentine's day is just but a day. On the other hand, love does not need to wait till the 14th of february to be shown. Love does not need to be represented by flowers or gifts. In fact, love needs no representation.

Just being by the side of a loved one, and being able to hold his hand tightly, being able to hold him dearly and being able to tell him those three words you thought you would never say...

Well folks, is that not the true meaning of valentine's?

Happy valentine's day and happy lunar new year to one and all! May all lovers remain in love and may everyone else have a fun-filled 2010!

Here to post on the FIRST week of SCHOOL.First day of school and we were already greeted warmly by an english diagnostic test part I xD The canteen food is quite nice though :) Hehe.Feels so nice to be still with 402..I dread the day when they split us up D: Even though real lessons/orientation have yet to start, I'm already starting to feel really tired >_< Went KimGary's to eat today..their baked rice was quite nice (Y) I feel so happy at times..Haha.

Monday:
Hmm went out. Met at Bishan (I had to pleasure of waiting for like 20+mins hehe) then went to buy sushi before going up to the food junction to eat..Hmm didn't spend much time at junction 8 though...although I did get to see the Bishan gay for like the first time in my life o_o Nxt went to bugis (OG) but didn't stay there for very long as well haha (probably 1hr+ or so) and finally went to plaza sing to buy xmas present!!Haha.What's more, I got to see the december release by groove inc!!The sakura dal looks really nice (I was so excited that I probably freaked someone out haha).I finally have blanket piglet!(Called Crispypork) Haha and another pig, pigpig to add to my collection of pig toys (: Really adore my christmas presents haha.And the nice card that I plan to keep (:

Tuesday:
Went cycling today haha.Although I was rather late( sorry for making you guys wait!!>.<) Haha who knew rchl and yvn and gang came even later haha.Shared a subway student meal with Jiamin before getting ready to go cycling :D Haha Tingyi's bro has such a nice hairstyle man xDDD As expected, I totally forgot how to ride a bike >,< Haha. But the rate was fairly reasonable, at $5 for two hours. The weather wasn't the best though, with rain every few hours or so.Luckily the place we were riding the bikes were near the rental place so we could run for cover haha. Amazingly, I can now cycle!(Most probably bah haha =x) Thank goodness all I had to pay was a couple of cuts here and there haha.After that went parkway with kim and rchl before heading to east point with rchl.Hmm had lots of fun for both days! (:

Haha spent the night bridging with Winston (Y) and getting pranked by aylwin -_- (N)

Went out today (: Had so much fun!I finally couldnt resist the urge to eat ice cream and bought 3 scoops from uzumaki ice cream (green tea, strawberry and chocolate). The ice cream was heavenly!!!Then after that went somewhere nearby to just sit and talk.LOL. Okay maybe not just talking only....haha. I shall not say much but yea today was quite fun (:

Another thing to note: I bought my Adidas shoes already!! But not sure if hwach will let so my sister bought another rather plain pair lest hwach doesnt allow my pair so we can make a swap ^^

Hmm looking forward to activities next week + CHRISTMAS :D Although this means that the holidays is coming to an end soon >_< Let's enjoy the remaining time left!

4 years.Hmm it isn't really long yet at the same time it isn't exactly short. So what makes my 4 years in NY so memorable?Simple.Read on fellas!

Year 1-The nerdy old me enters NY for the first time.I was quite anti social back then haha.I decided to be plain lazy and I think I screwed up most of my exams.Haha. Surprise Surprise, I still got promoted (:

Year 2- I started to open up a little (Guess Steffi can never stay quiet for long haha).Hmm I cant remember much about sec2 but I studied a lot more this time and guess what?! Steffi was promoted to 302'08.

Year 3- 302'08. The one class destined to change Steffi 360 degrees (You betcha!) My first NEW friend from 302? Chew Junying of course!And then Ying Siu i think.I duno when kelly and gen suddenly popped into the picture.HAHA. GCP 08--Steffi gets to know Althea better and makes a whole lot of friends again!(:

Year 4-402'08. Friends (: Good friends (: Good friends who <3 gossips (: Haha.Yup. If all the gossips shared were to be recorded I think it could possibly use up more trees than most novels. Blocks are finally OVERRR~ (: Hehe. Ytd went chiong buffet again with my eldest sis xD Haha (YES ALTHEA I HAPPEN TO LIKE MARKET PRAWNS) Lol.The best part was the waiter reminded me of someone (amusingg).

Then today was national day celebrations.Quite enjoyable la.(Except that rchl got so many unglam pics of me >_< andd we din get to do "FOREVER" =/) Sadded.After sch actl was suppose to head home because my parents din let me go out with Jiali and CJ cos jiali just recovered and my prelims are coming up >< But after waiting for 154 for like forever me n rchl decided to have some fun outside.Hehe.Shiting happened to pop up(out of nowhere xD) suddenly so we asked her along Haha.Thanks to my super creative imagination, I had lots of fun teasing ST and Rchl as well.Wahaha.ST and I can get each other "signals" now after spending like a few hours together(level 5 man!) Haha.It was fun walking around NTUC( it was NTUC right? =x) and spotting cabbages. x) The pokka milk tea is really good man. Die die must try!

I am amazed at how sleep deprived I can get xD For the past 3 days, I have been falling asleep the moment I reach home(Okay maybe after I watch a bit of tv xD) and then I always end up being (forcefully)awaken by my maid cos its time for dinner =x Lol the best part was today when she woke me up I was surprised that it was pretty dark and the first thought that struck me was that it was time for school (freaky huh). I panicked until I heard her ask "Do you want to eat dinner?" Lolz.

Anyway today wasn't as boring as I thought it would be (surprisingly!). Physics Lab was fun Haha. Except the disturbing fact that Jac has considered Emily to be her mistress(we havent even got married yet! D:) Lol. The experiment I enjoyed the most was probably the A.C generator Lol.It was some pretty good exercise man xD

Andd Bio lesson ended up turning to AYG fever! Lolz.Even though Singapore didn't win India, I still think they did great! =) Haha well after that went home with Rchl(and her bimbo bag xDD), Kepps(who is always asking for trouble!) and Shiting(evil junior! xD).

Well well well today was 402'09's FIRST ever CLASS OUTING!!!Haha well I have to apologize for being late ><;; (The ch8 drama was getting real exciting so I forgot the time :S) Well then we headed to Sakae Sushi and had real nice (ROMANTIC!) seats x) Chewy,Linh and Gen were at the same table as me and Wenqi and Yvn joined us later. The best part of lunch was of course, THE SINGING OF NINO'S BIRTHDAY SONG!! Of course, only my table sang T-T Sadded!

The we went to Kbox(!!!) and the first song we sang was of course WISHHH!!And following that a lot of random songs xD Butt Emily's Unfaithful was total classic Haha. Linh even gave us a solo!!(I forgot the title of the song omg D:) But i rmb it involved a lot of shaking Haha. Sadly, me, rchl and gen left at about 5+..but of course I sang A.RA.SHI before going ^_^

Overall I must say this outing was FUNNN (even though ET and Ms Ang and 15 other ppl didn't turn up D:)

Woah can't believe I'm watching tw dramas again( Lol okay maybe only 不良笑花) but now I can't even remember when was the last time I watched a recent arashi show.HOWEVER, DO NOT BE MISTAKEN. I still think Nino is the most handsome guy on Earth :D TeeHee.Lol but I think 不良笑花 is a very funny drama so comical xDD Oo and Dean Fujioka is so cool cause he knows how to speak Chinese, English and of course Japanese! :D Gah dread school =(

Haha.Yesterday was the dreaded JLPT.(and of course it just HAD to be held at NY)Well at least I knew the place xD Lol it was so funny how quite a number of people noticed my hair when we had an ~~exam~~ fine test to deal with xD Haha nice to know Pei ling and my sister's friends found my hair nice LOL. Well the JLPT level 3 test was okay but I think my first section will have the most mistakes even though I did that paper the fastest.Mistakes include correct answers that were changed at the last minute or just plain dumb mistakes or because I have never come across the correct answer before. Well I can't disclose any questions so I'll just leave it as that.Hee.

Well my sister and I headed for home after the paper but we stopped by East Point to grab lunch at Kobayashi and buy some Blue tack for Nino and gang(Yes Nino and Gang posters keep falling off recently :K) I shall post a picture of my room someday :)

After that, we went home and immediately logged on to Viwawa.Yes, you've guessed it--Bridging the whole afternoon! :) Yay level 13 now(Carol let me catch up to you leh haha).

Mmm following that we went out for dinner and when we came home we played Mah-jong till about 11 because my Dad was getting tired.Unfortunately, luck was not with me and I lost the most >< (Money not involved though..Just plastic chips :D)

3:22am and here I am blogging while msn-ing Carol :3 Haha I must be mad.Well as to why I have not been online these past few days(Okay maybe only yesterday and the day before) my modem spoiled and I had a mild case of food poisioning.Long story-don't ask; don't want to talk about it. Those were painful memories..LOL.Had bridge session with althea han on VWW[To althea: I'm amazed you had the audacity to tell Carol I lost like mad when you lost more than me(I think...I hope at least)Althea is gona get it someday *evil laughter*]Haha no actually I can't be bothered cos we had so much fun playing :D

Well spent my days watching the nino drama "拝啓、父上様"(and I'm only at episode 3 /.\) Haha.Hmm well I had to study jap as well as the JLPT is coming this sunday.Rahh.Lol I must remember to blog about see^2 and china(woah how far back am I?)Lol.Well since someone is waiting for this post to be published, I shall end off here and I catch you some other time my friend :)

Hello people who actually read my blog (You are NICE!:P) Okay anyway, latest update would be that I officially bought the Nino AAA 08 poster that I was dying for today and it occupied another 1/4 of one of my two fangirl walls :D Not forgetting the fact that it took away $20 from my wallet but it was cheaper than the previous one I bought.

Mm...well after that I went with my family to hotel Windsor for dinner..Not sure if you guys heard of the cafe there with the buffet that was featured on television yesterday night. Well sad to say, what was on tv was basically total crap.The service was bad, and lets say when we stepped into the restaurant; there was nothing there. No food only empty trays -.-

And the food wasn't as good as what was featured on television( the nicest edible food there was probably the ice cream).They took probably 15-25 minutes to replenish a single dish; sometimes with 2 but rarely 3.

Loads of people were complaining because the moment a dish touches the table, the whole world dives in to fight for whatever is on that dish (even beehoon!). My poor father( who normally really is a great eater) was so hungry since he doesn't eat lunch that he had to fill his stomach with beehoon so when dishes that appealed to him more were served, he had no appetite.

This is probably the first time ever I have been to such a buffet and I must say that it is definitely an eye-opener.The restaurant fed back to us that a full house(plus a long queue outside) was unexpected.(Hard to believe they did not mentally prepare themselves from such a situation when they just appeared on tv the night before -.-''') Furthermore, my sister told me that they were supposed to serve till 11 but they only served till about 9.

Well what more can I say? If you wish to have a nice quiet place where you need not clamour for food and have your meal in peace, this is not the place for you. :D

Man, this is a first(never complained about restaurants before @~@)

I just had to revive my blog.Tsk.Well was having a see2 meeting with my fellow group 4 people haha shall blog about see2 sometime maybe tommorrow night or so cos I'm tired now *yawns*. As to why I have yet to post anything about China, well if I do post, my post will last forever and I do not want to risk losing my hands after all that typing =P Haha do not fret, I think I'll most probably post my evaluative essay of the trip after I actually do it (Pretty far from now I think) haha.Well, I must thank all the nice little people who tagged at my dead dead blog hehe :D Looking forward to a shisan baobei gathering!:D Lol I don't know why but lately I think I'm losing my sense of humour bit by bit. China must have used up most of it :( ~~Rahh.Oh wait maybe I wasn't funny to begin with haha :] Sadded.~~Hey wait its starting to sound emo, I shall end off on a happy note.Yay happy note. :D

111 posts!Woot :) My blog pwns xD Today's my mum's birthday but we already celebrated on Sunday because I'm leaving tmr!D; Rahhh.And rachel's asking me why I don't reply tags haha well mainly cos I dun wana flood my own tagboard and I sometimes spazz and have nothing much to say yay :D But you know I love my taggers don't you?:)))) Esp that little girl who happens to be older than me by a few months called Rachel!:DDD

Well today in the morning my eldest sis told me she wanted treat me to lunch so we went Han river for their steamboat/BBQ.After probably an hour, there were only two tables occupied, me and my sis and another family and we were pretty near each other and they ate ALOT.Haha my sis was crazy wolfing down all those clams while I was eating kimchi haha and choc ice cream whee :))

And i feel really full right now think I'll have to give dinner a pass.Haha I was telling my sister how disppointed I was that me and "Tanah Merah girl" not in the same itenary cos I'll miss bridging with her =(( Oh well. And when we were on our way home, we walked past this house near ours and there was this little American girl standing at the gate and she shouted a hello to us xDD. She was super adorable and I looked at her and she smiled at me and I smiled back haha she's so cute rahh I'm in love with her :) Okay wait that sounds wrong.

Oh and I just checked my email and realised that my entry for the grandma grandpa contest was going to be published in a book..yes a book much to my amazement haha wonder if cheryl's entry would be in as well haha.Must vote for my entry okay?I wana go Japan haha just kidding. xDD Hope these two weeks will fly by and I'll be back in sg soon!And I sure do hope to meet arashi in shanghai yay ^-^

Attempt to revive this blog of mine.

Well to start off,I'm sick as of current.Sick as in shen bing as quote from Rachel :D Haha and I still remember ying siu and her china blues..she's probably flying off in a few hours :)) Althea's funny..we got the china trip booklet today and I was like "Eh althea for the two people in one room one I don't think we are together". And of course Althea wants to be in same room with me so she came up with a way so we can be in same room.LOL @ Althea.

Hmm today was kinda boring.We were playing with the leftovers from the 302'08 funeral fruit basket(pineapple was given to WDD XP).and Qian Yi's orange throw is wayy freaky xDD Hmm we played heart attack as well after clearing the mess of the attack of the grapes.Jacqe pwned with her scissors first tactic haha.Then after that we played stuff like what's the time mr.wolf and lao ying zhua xiao ji.I think I can now understand why Meiqi commented that we seem like we in kindergarten haha.

Ying Siu and I were also dancing some funny dance and Jun Ying was hilarious with her HUGE pile of stuff on the table.Omg i sound boring haha.Shall fast forward a little well went home,nearly died(I can't even finish a cup of bubble tea without wanting to puke *pokes buble tea by the computer*).Well first thing I did was to sleep and when I woke up was greeted by sms-es haha my tutor was asking for my results and when I told him he was like "Wow..Genius" HAHAHA.Then when he found out about the china trip he went "Wah.Have fun! China..."LOL funny.

Okay I feel like ending off here.Waiting to althea to come online is a slow, tormenting process since she has her training >< Btw Rachel: you should really take a pic of the new updated phone with MORE accessories.HAHA.Well last of all, HAPPY HALLOWEEN GUYS!:)Here's a picture to brighten your day(ARASHI CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN!)
